Mental health is a 365 day a year conversation.

As part of Kapitol's Learning & Development Program, we have started rolling out Mental Health Awareness training sessions with the aim of creating a workplace where people feel comfortable discussing mental health issues in a safe and supportive environment.

This initiative from our People and Culture team also aims to break-down stigmas and provide a forum for our team to not only feel comfortable to share and speak up, but also give them the skills on how to look out for one another.

Alice - our Head of People and Culture shared this:
"We want to normalise mental health conversations, so we run these sessions to share real life stories and show that everyone struggles with mental health from time to time – including our leaders. This helps take away the stigma and opens the door for people to share their own challenges."

Here is just a snippet of some of the feedback we have received from team members that have participated in the sessions.
