Getting to know Roya Richmond

Today we caught up with super-busy-but-always-smiling Roya Richmond, a Project Coordinator currently filling some pretty big shoes/work boots at one of our exciting new projects (more about that soon).

Roya, why did you get into construction?
“I have been working in construction for four years. Construction was and continues to be a challenge, full of professional development and personal growth. It’s the challenge that drew me in. Plus, I love contributing to the built environment.”

What does your typical day look like?
“A typical morning kicks off on site, catching up with our team and subcontractors to get clear on details of the build. If there is something that needs resolving, I might jump back on the computer or dig around for answers. It really depends, something new every day but always lots of phone calls and conversations.”

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
“I am infinitely learning!”

We'll let you get back to it, Roya!
