Yesterday we hosted a CoP breakfast at our head office to share how Kapitol have implemented lean construction through Daily Activity Briefings (DABs) and weekly Collaborative Planning Meetings with our subcontractors. Initially rolled out on two of our data centre construction sites and buoyed by the improvement in productivity, collaboration and communication, we will be rolling these meetings out on all new projects moving forward.
Experiences were swapped, and ideas flowed about how as a collective, each attendee is trying to enhance project success by applying lean construction principles at the forefront.
Kapitol looks forward to more events like this, where the industry can come together to improve productivity and collaboration in their own company's operations.
