Annual TogetHER Workshop

Our female staff recently got together for lunch and an interactive workshop as part of Kapitol's TogetHER initiative.

Led by our People and Culture Manager, Alice Hanna, our staff discussed issues facing women and importantly, what Kapitol can do better to support our workforce and encourage greater female participation in construction.

In addition to these quarterly workshops, each year we undertake a WGEA survey which helps us receive feedback and identify issues such as bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination. We're proud to share that we were rated 4.68/5 stars as a "comfortable, safe working environment for female employees", following this survey.

We've still got some way to go but we're trying hard to make Kapitol and the industry as a whole, a more supportive and inclusive place for women.
