Big milestones at the Methodist Ladies’ College, Melbourne Physical Education and Sport Precinct, with the 14th and final concrete pour now complete on the new 50m and Learn-to-Swim pools.
Over the past seven weeks, the team has delivered 14 pours — including three blinding pours, four base pours, and five wall pours.
With pouring now ticked off, we’re almost ready for hydrostatic testing, where water will be added to ensure the pool is watertight.
We’ve worked closely with our trade partners Mercav Constructions Pty Ltd and Commercial Aquatics Australia (Vic) to achieve this great result.
We caught up with Project Manager Sebastian Angus and Mercav Director Jordan Spriggs to hear more about this milestone.
