Kapitol Launches Robust Learning & Development Program

Introducing Kapitol’s Learning & Development Program, a significant investment we’re making with the end goal of having the best trained construction professionals in the industry.

Run through our Learning Management System and facilitated by a team of highly skilled, in-house subject matter experts, our aim is for all our project teams to complete 1-hour of training per week in small groups.

By the end of the year, we estimate our staff will complete approximately 8000 hours of combined training on 60 topics ranging from building permits, piling and internal waterproofing, to mental health foundations.

“The idea is we become a ‘learning organisation’, says Kapitol's Director David Caputo. "Having sat through several training sessions myself, I’ve been surprised how much I’ve learned which goes to show how imperative life-long learning is in an industry where standards and codes are constantly changing.”

Watch this space for more updates throughout the year as we continue to roll out more training across Kapitol Group.
